Aloha and Welcome to the story of Bonnie and Fred’s Condo!
In November of 2003, Bonnie and Fred and their two daughters, Chris and Anne, came to Hawaii for a family Thanksgiving holiday. This was a special gathering for our scattered family, and our first visit to Hawaii. We rented a house on Ali’i Drive and experienced the magic of the Big Island.. One week later, full of wondrous memories, Bonnie and Fred returned to Portland Oregon, Christine to Chicago, but Anne… she stayed! She is living in Puna, near Hilo. These events all had a big influence on Bonnie and Fred. They began a search of an even stronger Hawaii connection resulting in the purchase, in May 2005, of this condominium in Keauhou Gardens at the Kona Coast Resort. We have visited many times to put our mark on our new home. Anne currently works as a licensed massage therapist (see her page). Christine is working in the marketing in Chattanooga TN. What of Bonnie and Fred? They are delighted to have this home ‘in the islands’ to get away from Portland’s famous rainy winter days. Fred is a university professor and Bonnie is retired. Our condo continues to be a nucleus for our family holiday gatherings.
Best wishes to you our guests. May your time at our condo, and on the Big Island, form treasured memories of wonderful family vacation.
